McBride Clinic Opens New MRI Imaging Center
The McBride Clinic Imaging Center, located next to McBride Orthopedic Hospital at Britton and North Broadway Extension, is now open, offering a second location for McBride Clinic patients to receive MRI testing. The Philips Closed, High Field 1.5 Short Bore MRI is an eagerly awaited addition to the diagnostic tools used by the physicians of McBride Clinic and McBride Orthopedic Hospital. McBride Clinic also offers an open-sided MRI.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or MRI, is used to examine both bones and soft tissue. It is a patient examination utilizing a magnetic field and radio waves to produce a highly accurate view of the inside of any portion of your body. It is a painless and extremely safe procedure because no radiation is used. MRIs are often used in the examination of:
- Spinal and joint problems
- Small tears to tendons and ligaments
- Sports injuries
- Arthritis
The Philips Closed, High Field 1.5 Tesla, Short Bore MRI allows for shorter scan times and enhanced imaging capabilities, as compared to other MRIs with lower field strength. The Philips MRI creates an enhanced exam experience, while obtaining advanced diagnostic results.
McBride Clinic patients will benefit from the efficiency and accessibility of the new Imaging Center conveniently located at 9600 N Broadway Ext. MRI appointments are available from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
