McBride Foundation to Award Local Grants

The McBride Foundation is pleased to announce that it will be providing funds to support local research.


Grant Application Information
1. The McBride Foundation requires grant applicants to be a resident of the State of Oklahoma. Researchers must be working on or have a “terminal” degree (MD, PhD or the equivalent). All grants must be for musculoskeletal diseases.

2. The funding cycle begins January 1, 2011.

3. Grants will be awarded on a priority score provided through the Scientific Advisory Board process.

4. Grants with direct costs of up to $25,000 per year, a maximum of 2 years duration, will be considered.

5. No overhead costs or construction/renovation costs will be permitted.

6. Applicants must be based and research must take place in Oklahoma.

7. Applicants will be expected to present the progress and results of their work to the McBride Foundation.

8. The application deadline is September 30, 2010. All applications are to be submitted to the McBride Foundation, 1111 N Lee, Ste 115, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73103.

9. Awards will be announced November 30, 2010.
